Bud light is the sponsor of the event and so beer, wine and food are available for purchase within the gates. Locals and visitors alike have come to eagerly anticipate this concert series not only for the great performances, but for chance to let the kids play, relax, and enjoy the fresh mountain evenings.

The Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater is located adjacent to the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, which are the highest botanical gardens in the United States. With cascading waterfalls, hidden pathways, shady benches, and a breathtaking variety and arrangement of flowers, it is a must-have before or after-concert experience.

The rider has to withstand the bucking and twirling for at least 8 second. Next is the calf Scramble Kids event, which gives kids the chance to try to grab one of five ribbons off the tails of scampering calves that are set loose in the rodeo arena. Another event that kids are invited to participate in is Mutton Bustin’, which starts at 7:00pm. The objective is to see who can hold onto their squirmy sheep the longest and the winner gets a trophy. You can sign your kids up for both the Calf Kids Scramble and Mutton Bustin’ events each Thursday night after the gates open.

Adults are welcome to participate too! Teams of three adults (18 years of age or older) can sign up to compete in the Burro Racing event, which starts at 7:30pm and tests rider’s ability to ride and handle a donkey.

Other events include the dangerous sport of Bull riding (7:45pm) where a cowboy must hang onto a 2000 lb angry bull for 8 seconds. Barrel Racing starts at 7:15pm and demonstrates the speed and agility of both the horse and its rider as they compete to weave between three strategically set up barrels in the fastest time.

The Beaver Creek Rodeo is the perfect evening activity for families and friends. There is so much to see and do in this action-packed two hour event. Please see details about the Beaver Creek Wine and Spirits Festival, which coincides with the Beaver Creek Rodeo. Special packages will be sold for both events at a discounted rate and kids under the age of 12 can eat for free (some restrictions apply).
