Tommy is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and went to Temple University where he received his degree in Business with a minor in Law. After coming out to ski in Colorado during college, Tommy brought his family of five back out for a vacation, ended up buying a place, and the rest became history. In his free time, Tommy loves rafting among other outdoor activities, and is a talented ceramicist. His passion is for experiencing as many things as possible, trying almost anything once, and thinking outside the box.

Office Pets

Ozzie

Ozzie the Office Dog
Ozzy started with RMVR in the fall of 2010. Ozzy is still a puppy at only 1.5yrs old but he behaves himself at work most days. He is sure that we all come to work every day just to pet him. Ozzy’s favorite things are getting pets and loves from anyone with a free hand, if you are not paying attention to him he will give you a gentle nudge to remind you that it’s time to pet him again. He loves to play with Mattie, one of his girlfriends, and chase his ball. Swimming in the river is also a favorite activity- any stick that floats by will be rescued from its trip down stream. If this cute little guy isn’t at the office sitting in on meetings he is always up for a hiking adventure, an afternoon at the dog park, or just relaxing on his back deck watching the people and dogs of West Vail.

Mattie

Mattie the Office Dog
Mattie is the coolest dog ever. Period.

Rio

Rio
Rio is the newest member of the RMVR team. He was rescued from a shelter in New Mexico, and brought to the Vail/Beaver Creek area to live to good life of a mountain dog! With a name like Rio, it’s no surprise that is he a natural river dog – he loves to sit at the front of the raft and scout the next rapid or fishing hole. In the office, after playing with Ozzie and Mattie, Rio will curl up under the desk and nap all afternoon. His favorite hike is to Grouse Lake, his favorite toy is his Ducky, and his favorite treat is ice cubes!
