Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals partners with Navis Technologies, using their sophisticated reservation capturing system to accurately track marketing channels and communicate better with clients.  Clients will immediately be put through to the least busy agent or the agent best suited for the call, guaranteeing the most efficient experience for the customer.  Sales agents are able to keep track of call details, including desired dates of arrival and departure, number of people, desired type of property, and activities the customer would like access to during their stay.  This information is accessible to all sales agents; therefore, in the event of the original agent not being available when the customer calls back, any agent is quickly versed in the details, saving the customer the time of repeating their desired accommodations.

Navis was first established in 1987 as Buehner-Fry to provide call management services to companies in the vacation rental and corporate housing industries.  Today, Navis provides products and services to over a thousand clients in the hotel, resort, and vacation rental management industries.

Inntopia

Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals is strategically partnered with Inntopia, one of the only real-time Global Distribution Systems for online booking in the vacation rentals industry.  Through its use of Inntopia software, Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals is provided access to over 250,000 rental properties which can be easily searched and booked online by the customer.  Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals is able to set priorities on what properties will be returned first, guaranteeing lodging quality, and to set pop-up availability calendars on each property so customers can easily see if the desired rental is available.  Properties are searched by date of arrival, date of departure, number of adults, and number of children, so the only properties returned are those which are serviceable to the customer.

Inntopia was first created in 1997 as an online booking engine for independent lodging companies and has since flourished into the leading supplier of reservation technology, providing rental inventory and leisure accommodations for the travel industry.  Inntopia is owned and operated by Sterling Valley Systems Inc., located in Stowe, Vermont.

Vacation Rental Managers Association (VRMA)

Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals is a proud partner of the Vacation Rental Managers Association (VRMA).  VRMA is an international organization representing the interests of property management companies around the world, though 95% of members are located within the continental United States.  Because 85-90% of the public has never stayed in a vacation rental home, the vacation rental industry must rely on word-of-mouth.  Therefore, VRMA focuses its efforts on marketing and creating awareness about the industry.

Of VRMA’s relationship with Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals, VRMA Chief Strategist—Membership and Awareness, Rick Fisher comments, “It has been great.  Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals has been a member for about a year.  We’re looking for all kinds of managers, not just big companies; we’re interested in small companies too, we want progressive managers.  We’re only as good as our members; they’re really endowed in supporting the association.”

Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals supports the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and its dedication to making the travel industry both accessible and affordable for the public.  The IATA simplifies the travel process, meaning passengers can make one phone call to reserve a ticket, pay in one currency, and use the ticket in several airports in several countries.  IATA actively challenges both regulators and the government in the interest of airlines and travelers, fighting against unreasonable rules and charges, and improving safety standards and efficiency.
