Aspen Ski Vacation Events: Fashion has always been something that I followed closely growing and moving to a mountain town I feel like I haven’t even thought about it.  Living in a town where wearing sweatshirts and spandex is the norm I was quick to be in a cultural shock after traveling to the city for the night.  After making a quick trip to Denver Monday night I felt like I had been out of the fashion world for years when in reality it has only been a few months.  


     Aspen has been lucky enough to be enjoying the 2011 Aspen Fashion Week going on now and ending March 17th. Designers at this event will be presenting their 2011/2012 winter apparel. The show has been full of consumers, buyers, trendsetters, editors, and creative designers including Authier, Burton, Dannenmann, J. Crew, Marmot, and Sypder just to name a few.  


     So I have been proven wrong it looks as though fashion does exist in the mountains.
