Still no snow up here in the Colorado Rockies, and at this point we are praying for better luck next year (which is now in 4 days). I have a feeling that the lack of snow in December only means more snow and bigger storms in January, February and March. There is no new snow at A-Basin, leaving Montezuma Bowl and East Wall closed. However, Treeline Terrain Park just opened yesterday and the park jumps will be opening soon!
Beaver Creek: 24hr: 0 in 72hr: 0 in
There is no new snow in Beaver Creek, but that didn’t keep them from opening Rodeo Terrain Park and Park 101. Beaver Creek now has 1325 ski-able acres, 113 trails open and ALL 25 lifts open.
Keystone: 24hr: 0 in 72hr: 0 in
Keystone just opened Spillway run yesterday, opening up 1,137 ski-able acres with ALL 20 lifts running. Bergman Bowl, however, is temporarily closed due to snow conditions. On the other hand, Kidtopia is now officially open! Kidtopia is a fitting blend of a utopia for kids, as there are many different activities for kids. There is also a huge ice castle, one of the only of its kind in the nation.

Ski Cooper officially opened its lifts on December 24th, and will be running 7 days a week until closing day on April 8, 2012.
