Aspen, Colorado – A Winter Paradise.  Nothing beats winter in the Rockies!  That’s why Aspen is a destination for snow-lovers from all over the world.  The first powder day of the season is always memorable, no matter how many times you have experienced it.  Aspen is home to some of the most popular ski resorts in the U.S. and a wide range of other winter activities, which is why Aspen draws thousands of skier and snowboarders each year.  There is always an adventure around the corner, even when you don’t feel like hitting the slopes.

Aspen is known around the world for being some of the best skiing around.  That’s easy to understand when you know that it is in close proximity to three other impressive Colorado Mountains.  Right next door are Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk Mountain, and 15-20 minutes down the road is Snowmass. The best part, you ask?  These mountains all use the same ski pass and are all connected through the free RFTA (Roaring Fork Transit Authority) bus.  The free bus will take you between the resorts as you explore a variety of terrain on the different mountains.
