Aspen/Snowmass

Aspen Ski Resort in the Colorado Rockies is comprised of four spectacular Mountains, with over 5,300 acres of total terrain.  Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, and Buttermilk offer great variety with the purchase of a single pass!  Aspen/Snowmass offers world-class skiing and boarding, lodging, dining, and overall service.   If you are looking for world-renowned, big mountain skiing, a gravity defying 4,406 foot vertical drop, Winter X Games excitement, ski in/ski out luxury lodging, or simple winter bliss, you have come to the right place.  This winter wonderland shifts to a summer playground for outdoor enthusiasts.  Aspen/Snowmass offers summer gondola rides, providing access to miles of hiking and biking trails.  Other events and activities during the summer months include but are not limited to: mountainboarding, disc-golf courses, camping, kayaking, rafting, paragliding, fishing, horseback riding, paintball, skateboarding, golf, tennis, and free, live outdoor concerts.  Aspen/Snowmass is a great place to book your next family vacation regardless of the season.

Aspen was founded as a silver mining town in the 1870’s before converting into a mountain resort and playground. Due to its mining heritage, Aspen is quite unique, as mining barons and entrepreneurs in the late 1800’s left behind a legacy of beautiful Victorian architecture.  The city of Aspen is surrounded on three sides by Aspen Mountain, Smuggler and Red Mountains, and is also a short drive to Snowmass Village.  Aspen/Snowmass offers great shopping, dining, nightlife, arts and culture, and recreational activities, as well as a variety of year-round events that can be discovered in our blog.  The focus of the locals in the community is based on the idea of combining mind, body, and spirit.  In short, Aspen encompasses great people, great food, aesthetics, and a warm and friendly environment.

Lodging in the Aspen/Snowmass area can be arranged by Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals, and is organized under a set of ratings.  These ratings are: luxury, deluxe, standard, and economy.  The purpose of these ratings is to provide the customer with a general description of what is offered at each level of lodging.  We maintain an extensive inventory in Aspen/Snowmass of luxury hotels, rental homes, and ski in/ski out lodging.  When planning your Aspen/Snowmass vacation, be sure to use our complete concierge services to ensure that we meet all of your needs.  From floral arrangements to babysitters, we can help you out.  For more information on Aspen winter and/or summer packages, please call Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals today.
