Copper

Located in the famous Summit County of Colorado and only minutes away from Keystone Ski Resort, Breckenridge Ski Resort, and Vail Ski Resort, Copper is the perfect town for an unforgettable fun and relaxing vacation. Copper is a small, quaint town basking in the beautiful scenery of the Rockies while offering some of the finest skiing and snowboarding in North America.  The mountain is well-organized with beginner, intermediate and expert trails and terrain conveniently grouped together in three clear sections according to difficulty.  Even though the mountain’s four bowls, Superpipe, and Terrain Park are frequently ranked amongst the country’s best, the lift lines at Copper are regularly much shorter. In Copper, the fun doesn’t end with winter; summer brings a whole new cast of events and activities for children and adults of all ages to enjoy. The wide variety of naturally separated terrain is truly beautiful when covered with wildflowers, offering an ideal setting for incredible biking, hiking and golfing. Whether you’re planning a summer or winter getaway for the family, friends, or just for you and your romantic partner, Copper has everything you need and more to ensure a wonderful time.

When measured by area, Copper Mountain is the largest resort in Summit County, which includes Breckenridge, Keystone and A-Basin. Just as the mountain is split up into three sections, the town of Copper has three base villages. Super BEE Base is located along the east side of town and is home to the more challenging terrain. The Alpine Lift and Golf Course, as well as many of the condominiums and private cabins in Copper, are all located in Super BEE Base. On the other side of Copper Mountain, West Village is home to the less-difficult/beginner runs, including the Rugrat, High Point, Kokomo, Sling Shot and Glide lifts. Also conveniently located in the West Village are the Ski School and a majority of the tourist attractions. In the middle is the Center Village, or “Village at Copper,” which serves as the mountain’s main village. Home to the American Eagle and American Flyer lifts, Village at Copper is at the base of the more intermediate runs. Village at Copper has undergone a great deal of renovation in recent years, as have a majority of the restaurants, shops and nightlife. While the Mountain and Town of Copper are clearly separated, one can access all runs and villages with just one lift or bus.

Lodging in the Copper area can be arranged by Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals, and is organized under a set of ratings.  These ratings are: luxury, deluxe, standard, and economy.  The purpose for these ratings is to provide the customer with a general description of what is offered at each level of lodging.  We maintain an extensive inventory in Copper of luxury hotels, rental homes, and ski in/ski out lodging.  When planning your Copper vacation, be sure to use our complete concierge services to ensure that we meet all of your needs.  From floral arrangements to babysitters, we can help you out.  For more information on Copper winter and/or summer packages, please call Rocky Mountain Vacation Rentals today.
