As one of the largest mountains in Colorado, Snowmass has 3,132 acres of terrain with 147 miles of trails that range anywhere from a leisurely green to an extreme double black diamond. Snowmass hosts three terrain parks: Snowmass Park, Makaha, and Lowdown for those looking for a challenge. In the summer, Snowmass offers to free Thursday night concerts all season long and one of our favorite downhill bike trails, Valhalla Trail.
In the winter, the Snowmass offers phenomenal on mountain dinning. A hidden gem, Up 4 Pizza, serves the best pizza and delicious homemade cookies at 11,800 feet, however, it is only open for lunch during the ski season. Regardless, if you are here in the winter, their cookies are not to be missed.
With the new base village that was completed during the summer of 2012, you will find the new kids Tree House. This is where your child will meet for ski school each day and there are activities for children of all ages. At the Tree House, you will also find the Family Zone for a fun way to ski/ride with the whole family. Please contact us for more information.
