Winter Activities

Nordic Skiing:

With over 85 kilometers of pristine trails, Nordic skiers are in for a cross country adventure!  Travel in and out of lush forests and take in beautiful views of the Gallatin National Forest.  This is an activity for any level of experience, and both private and group lessons are available.  Trail fees and ski rentals each range from $5-$20.

Group Lessons: $30-$50 per person
Private Lessons:  $55-$75 first guest, $25-$35 each additional participant

Sleigh Rides:

Bundle up and prepare for an exhilarating, horse drawn adventure.  Good for the whole family or just for two, sleigh rides depart in the evening after sunset and always end with hot chocolate, among other refreshments.  Riders glide over pristine snow while enjoying a 35-45 minute tour of the mountain.

Snowcoach Tours:

Take a guided tour of Yellowstone Park in a heated snowcoach! Tours are narrated by knowledgeable, local guides and riders are encouraged to ask to stop for photo opportunities!

Pricing: $90-$100 per person, contact our concierge for private rates.

Snowmobiling:

A fast paced way to tour the mountains, snowmobiling adventures are available for riders of all ages!  One to four hour tours are available and riders are invited to glide over miles and miles of groomed trails at gripping speeds.   A real sightseeing adventure, tours run from 8:30am to 5pm every day of the week, so be sure to allot a few hours of your stay to a snowmobile tour.

Snowshoeing:

Explore the mountain at your own pace or take a guided snowshoe tour.  Snowshoeing requires no experience, but a lot of layers of clothes, as the weather may change in an instant!  Snowshoers are invited to walk as fast as slow as they want while enjoying scenic views up close.  Contact our concierge for group rates.
