Snowshoeing – The activity center at Snowbird offers daily rentals from 8:00am to 4:30pm and guided tours starting at 1:30pm. It is a great way to explore Snowbird by foot and the guided tours cost $30-$45 per person, which includes snowshoe rental.

Backcountry Tours – Experience the beauty and solitude of the Wasatch Backcountry on an alpine tour. There are three programs available ranging in difficulty. For the all-day expedition, pricing ranges from $250-$300 and for the half-day expedition, pricing ranges from $150-$190.

Night Skiing at Snowbird – Experience skiing at night when the air is crispy and the snow is fresh. Night skiing is from 5:30pm to 8:30pm Wed/Fri/Sat only and occurs only on the Chickadee lift. Call for more details and pricing options.

Interconnect Tours – Experience the Wasatch Mountain backcountry via routes in and out of up to six different ski resorts. The Ski Utah Interconnect Adventure Tour offers a safe and fun way to explore the mountains and the cost ranges from $210-$270 per person

Backcountry Skills Seminar – Learn everything there is to backcountry skiing. You’ll learn the basic skills required and be guided down excellent backcountry runs. Dates a pricing vary so call for additional information.

Guided Fly Fishing Trips – Fly Drifters of Utah provides year-round guided fly fishing trips. They are offered for the Provo and Weber Rivers. They will customize the ideal trip for you, whether you’re looking for still or fast moving waters. The trips include all of the necessary gear, snacks, and water.

Avalanche Rescue Training Center – This training center is free to the public throughout the winter. You can view all of the computers and simulate an actual avalanche. Its located to the east of the Cliff Lodge.

Snowmobile Tours – This tour starts near the 11,000 foot summit of Hidden Peak. While traveling across the 50,000 acres of land and witness the towering mountains around you. Call for further information and pricing of the tours.

Mountain Tours – Take a tour throughout the facilities at Snowbird. Tours are available daily and you’ll get to know the mountains as well as the guides do. The mountain offers a vast amount of undiscovered terrain.

Aerial Tram Rides – The tram at Snowbird travels to the top of Hidden Peak at 11,000 feet. The trip can be done in 40 minutes but guests may stay as long as they like. During the ride, you’ll be able to see toward Alta and down into the Salt Lake Valley.

Helicopter-Skiing – If you’re looking for a thrilling adventure, look no further than Purcell Heli-Skiing. They strive to provide the safest adventure possible while letting their customers experience comfortable skiing/snowboarding at a relaxed pace. There is a transport minimum of 3 people per day and the tour includes lunch, a certified guide, a deep powder lesson, avalanche transceiver training, and helicopter safety briefing. Prepare yourself for an adventure like no other.
