Dog Sledding: Dog sledding trips are a fun and unique way to experience the great outdoors of South Lake Tahoe. The length of Dog Sledding rides can range anywhere from 45 minutes, 4 mile trips to 2 hour, 18 miles adventures.  Prices for children range from $40 to $60 and prices for adults range from $80 to $100.

Ice Skating: Lake Tahoe’s South Shore boasts numerous ice rinks and arenas that are available to the general public. The South Tahoe Ice Arena is a state of the art indoor rink open to the public year around. The facility also includes an arcade, retail store and party rooms making it great for kids and families. Fees for the South Tahoe Ice Arena range from $6 to $10 with skate rentals starting at $3.

Sleigh Rides: Authentic Sleigh rides are available for mourning, day and night rides that are great for family fun and romantic outings. Prices range from $20-$30 for adults and $10 to $15 for children.

Snowmobiling: The diverse landscape that surrounding South Lake Tahoe offers some of the most beautiful and rugged terrain, making it a great place to snowmobile. A variety of guided tours are available throughout the South Shore region at prices ranging from $100 to $200 for two hour trips and from $250 to $300 for four hour trips. While helmets are given with tours and required, other equipment rentals are also available including jackets, bibs, gloves and boots. Prices for equipment rentals range from $5-$10 per item. For the experienced riders, Snowmobile rentals are also available through numerous locations within the South Shore area at prices ranging from $200 to $300.

Snowshoeing/Snowshoeing Tours: Snowshoeing is a fun and peaceful way to enjoy the beautiful scenery along Lake Tahoe’s southern landscape. Guided Snowshoeing tours are available throughout the south shore region at prices ranging from $60 to $100 per person.
