Deer Valley Resort - Vacation Rentals & Ski Lodging

Of the many ski resorts across the United States and Canada, there are few that are held in such high esteem as Deer Valley Resort, located among the various resorts that dot the area in and around Park City, Utah. Showcasing sunny, cloudless skies and comfortable, powdery snow that is truly a hallmark of the Rocky Mountains, winter sport enthusiasts have flocked to this high-end mountain getaway since its official founding in 1981. The promise the resort made from day one was to be “Unspoiled. Uncrowded. Uncommonly Civilized."", and over 30 years later, Deer Valley continues to embody a first-class experience through unforgettable skiing, luxurious amenities and world-class cuisine, all while maintaining an impeccable standard of service.

In Deer Valley, there is never a shortage of things to do. Apart from the skiing for which the resort is already known, you can snowshoe, take a cozy sleigh ride or experience the uncommon thrill of dogsledding, all in what seems to be a picturesque, snow covered portrait. However, Deer Valley is one of only three remaining resorts in the United States that does not allow snowboarding. Once it warms up, you can take in the nature filled landscapes while going for a serene hike or a fun filled mountain biking adventure. Also, the resort’s Snow Park Amphitheatre springs to life during any of the many outdoor concerts, especially the Utah Symphony held each year, as well as the Utah Opera's Deer Valley Music Festival.

If getting on the mountain isn’t your thing, or you just need a day off, there are plenty of ways to relax and enjoy yourself. Grab yourself a day at the spa, enjoying a muscle melting massage and a nice steam room or sauna session. You can also get a facial dedicated to fighting the stresses that being at high-altitude can bring. And, of course, if your idea of a good vacation is determined by the shopping selection, you won’t be let down. From chic boutique clothiers to inspired art galleries, Deer valley does not disappoint.

When it comes to dining, Deer Valley will make you understand why so many people covet fine mountain fare. You’ll be able to tantalize your taste-buds with cuisine that is uniquely associated with the high-country, though if you’re looking for something a little more the norm, worry not. Culinary offerings range from customary Italian and the traditional American delights to Asian fusion and even fresh seafood flown in almost daily.

Over the years, the Deer Valley Resort has grown to 2,026 skiable acres (820 hectares) that encompass six mountains with six bowls. On the slopes, there are 100 runs divided quite evenly among beginner, intermediate and expert levels, guaranteeing a number of options for all skiers, regardless of whether it’s your first time or your 100th. 24 lifts provide access to all runs, which you can expect to be covered with powder quite often due to the 300 inches (760 centimeters) of snowfall the resort averages each season. The mountains at the resort reach a peak elevation of 9,570 feet (2,920 meters) and provide a 3,000 foot (910 meter) vertical drop.

So, if Deer Valley sounds like a place you would like to spend your next vacation, or if you’d like to get some more firsthand insight about the resort and all it has to offer, please give us a call. Our friendly, knowledgeable Destination Specialists are standing by to assist you.
